Wow! I have had over 1000+ downloads of these brushes . That's cool................ but it would be nice to see how they were used. If you do use I'd like to see the finished project. Just post a comment so I can fav it. If it's used outside of DA post a link so I can check it out . Not a requirement, only a request. Thanks.

*Update* Do to a couple requests I saved down the brushes. They should now be compatible with all Illustrator CS versions although the earliest version of Illustrator I have tested it with has been CS2. Also all the brushes are in one file, hope this helps!

i ve created some brushes and i want to upload them here in da to share them...i ve saved them as brushes but it doesn t appear as a .ai file, thus da does not allow me to save it up here. how do you save your brushes for da? i m an illustrator beginner.

With the pointer tool select the shape or texture that you want to make into a brush. Go to Window > Brushes > go to the menu symbol in the upper right corner of the window and select new > select "Art Brush" > hit "OK" > select "tints and shades" in colorization section > select "OK". Go back to the brushes window in the menu again and select "Save Brush Library" and hit "save". It should automatically save as an ".ai" file.

thanks a lot...i also got a tutorial from google...check out the burshes i made and if you do use them let me know if they work the way they should coz i'm really not sure if i did it right...heheh...again, thanks and hope you will find uses for the brushes...
